Job summary

Petoskey Plastics seeks a Corporate Quality Manager to lead the Quality Management System across all manufacturing locations. You will ensure customer requirements, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement while guiding plant quality teams under the VP of Operations.

The role emphasizes monitoring metrics, coordinating audits, and implementing corrective actions to reduce losses and improve manufacturing performance. Travel to facilities is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or related field.
• Five or more years of manufacturing quality, quality assurance, or quality systems.
• Experience with ISO 9001, audits, corrective action systems, and root cause analysis.
• Multi-site manufacturing, SPC, continuous improvement, and plastics manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the company-wide QMS, policies, procedures, and work instructions across locations.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and monitor compliance with customer, regulatory, and certification requirements.
• Monitor corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely and effective resolution.
• Track and analyze quality metrics (customer complaints, scrap, rework) and drive root-cause analysis.
• Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives and standardization of quality practices across facilities.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Purchasing to resolve quality issues and improve performance.
