Wieland North America, Inc. is seeking a Quality Manager for a fully on-site role in Verona, VA. The position focuses on planning and managing quality standards, driving root-cause analysis, and coordinating supplier quality to meet customer expectations.

The role requires ASME/AWS knowledge, strong documentation practices, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in quality initiatives. Base salary range is $105,000–$130,000 with potential bonus eligibility and on-site benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with quality systems, audits, and procedures.
• 5+ years in industrial fabrication/manufacturing.
• In depth knowledge of ASME and AWS codes.
• Knowledgeable in ASME inspection process - incoming inspection, material certification, and in-process inspection.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, weld symbols, and finish callouts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance to ASME weld procedures and train QC personnel in QC measurements, weld procedures, materials traceability and ASME documentation.
• Monitor weld procedures and ASME code requirements to verify compliance with specifications.
• Inspect welded sub-assemblies and assemblies at designated points of the manufacturing process for ASME hold points.
• Be the main point of contact for the Authorized Inspector (AI).
• Maintain all quality records for the company for the required retention period.
