Job summary

Wieland North America, Inc. is seeking a Quality Manager for a fully on-site role in Verona, VA. The position focuses on planning and managing quality standards, driving root-cause analysis, and coordinating supplier quality to meet customer expectations.

The role requires ASME/AWS knowledge, strong documentation practices, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in quality initiatives. Base salary range is $105,000–$130,000 with potential bonus eligibility and on-site benefits.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience with quality systems, audits, and procedures.
5+ years in industrial fabrication/manufacturing.
In depth knowledge of ASME and AWS codes.
Knowledgeable in ASME inspection process - incoming inspection, material certification, and in-process inspection.
Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, weld symbols, and finish callouts.

Responsibilities

Maintain compliance to ASME weld procedures and train QC personnel in QC measurements, weld procedures, materials traceability and ASME documentation.
Monitor weld procedures and ASME code requirements to verify compliance with specifications.
Inspect welded sub-assemblies and assemblies at designated points of the manufacturing process for ASME hold points.
Be the main point of contact for the Authorized Inspector (AI).
Maintain all quality records for the company for the required retention period.
