Job summary

The Walsh Group is seeking a Quality Manager I for its Data Center Group based in Mount Pleasant, WI. You will implement and improve the QMS, ensure project quality from planning through close-out, and mentor staff across multiple projects to drive performance.

Qualifications

• AEC Bachelor's degree or equivalent related field experience.
• USACE/NAVFAC/NRC Construction Quality Management certification preferred but not required.
• Minimum 7 years of AEC experience, with 3 years in a Quality role.
• Good communication, critical thinking and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Champion quality for a project or multiple projects, overseeing quality of works, materials, documentation and close-out.
• Coach and train project staff in quality management principles and project-specific requirements.
• Mentor Quality staff to advance careers and improve retention.
• Lead and manage quality processes: work planning, pre-activity meetings, material management, QIRs, inspections.
• Establish and report KPIs and QIRs to drive continuous improvement.
• Audits project quality programs to identify and implement improvements.
