Job summary

Walsh Group, Ltd. in Mount Pleasant, WI is seeking a Quality Manager I for our Data Center Group. You will implement and improve the Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ensure design and construction align with Company policies and contract requirements.

You will coach project staff, lead quality processes, monitor KPIs, and coordinate inspections and testing with operations, consultants, and clients. This role emphasizes risk management, documentation, and continuous improvement across

Qualifications

• AEC Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field; current certification preferred
• USACE/NAVFAC/NRC Construction Quality Management certification preferred but not required
• Industry certifications for testing and inspection as required to review and certify tests/inspections
• Limited travel for projects as necessary
• Level 1 QCM
• Minimum 7 years of AEC experience, with 3 years in a Quality role
• Strong communication, critical thinking, problem solving, time management

Responsibilities

• Serve as quality champion for projects, ensuring quality of works, materials, documentation and close-out
• Coach and mentor project staff in quality management principles and project-specific requirements
• Lead and manage quality processes such as work planning, pre-activity meetings, material management, and inspections
• Establish, monitor and report KPIs and QIRs; analyze trends and drive improvements
• Routinely audit project quality programs and provide feedback to Operations and Quality Management
• Direct inspection, testing and documentation; coordinate with operations, consultants, labs and Client
