Job summary

Potawatomi Federal Solutions in Lee’s Summit, MO seeks a Quality Manager to lead quality operations on a government site. You will implement a contractor Quality Control program, supervise auditors/trainers, and ensure compliance with government standards in a records center/file storage facility.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of QC management, a relevant Bachelor’s degree, and a Six Sigma Black Belt (or ability to obtain within 180 days). U.S.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience in managing quality control operations.
• Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following disciplines: Program Management, Business or Public Administration, Production/Operations/Manufacturing/Quality Management, Technical Management, Information Systems, Engineering, or Finance/Accounting.
• Must possess, or successfully obtain within 180 days of contract award, a Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• This is a public trust position which requires the ability to pass pre-employment drug screen; ability to pass a post offer employment physical abilities test; ability to pass government background security clearance check; must be able to retain a government public trust security level clearance; must be a U.S. Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Ensure services are performed to government customer standards.
• Develop procedures to identify and prevent occurences of defective services.
• Develop and oversee procedures to remediate and processes where acceptable quality levels are not being met.
• Analyze quality data collected and recommend related changes to the Program Manager.
• Manage corrective action requests and error transmittal reports for timely resolution and document the final disposition for quality issues.
• Coordinate quality performance and customer quality service issues with government personnel and Contractor’s Program Manager.
• Provide guidance, training, and implementation of the Contractor’s Quality Control Program onsite.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
