Job summary

Advancia Government Services is seeking a Quality Manager to lead quality audit and training efforts on a government site. The role focuses on preventing defects, ensuring adherence to customer standards, and maintaining a robust quality control program across the records center environment.

The candidate will manage a team of quality auditors, develop preventive procedures, and coordinate with government personnel to drive continuous improvement and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in managing quality control operations.
  • Experience preparing and monitoring internal procedures for adherence to government regulations.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Program Management, Business, Public Administration, or related fields.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification required or obtainable within 180 days of contract award.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass security clearance and pre-employment checks.
  • Strong written and oral communication, organizational and planning skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.

  • Develop procedures to identify and prevent occurrences of defective services.
  • Develop and oversee procedures to remediate and improve processes where quality is not met.
  • Analyze quality data and recommend changes to the Program Manager.
  • Manage corrective action requests and error transmittal reports with timely disposition.
  • Recommend changes regarding quality control.
  • Coordinate quality performance and customer service issues with government personnel and contractor leadership.
  • Provide guidance, training, and implementation of the Contractor’s Quality Control Program onsite.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Title: Quality Manager

Location: Lee’s Summit, MO

Division: Advancia Government Services

This position is contingent upon contract award
Position Summary:

The Quality Manager will identify and proactively prevent issues that can detract from or degrade contract performance on a government work site. The Quality Manager shall be responsible for all quality activities within task areas and implement a contractor project quality control program to ensure quality outcome, training, and government customer requirements are met within a records center/file storage facility environment. The Quality Manager will lead a team of quality auditors and tutors to perform all audit and training functions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Ensure services are performed to government customer standards.

  • Develop procedures to identify and prevent occurences of defective services.

  • Develop and oversee procedures to remediate and processes where acceptable quality levels are not being met.

  • Analyze quality data collected and recommend related changes to the Program Manager.

  • Manage corrective action requests and error transmittal reports for timely resolution and document the final disposition for quality issues.

  • Recommend changes regarding quality control.

  • Coordinate quality performance and customer quality service issues with government personnel and Contractor’s Program Manager.

  • Provide guidance, training, and implementation of the Contractor’s Quality Control Program onsite.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Three (3) years of experience in managing quality control operations.

  • Demonstrated experience in preparing and monitoring internal procedures for adherence to Government regulations and policies and coordinating operational and administrative actions.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following disciplines: Program Management, Business or Public Administration, Production/Operations/Manufacturing/Quality Management, Technical Management, Information Systems, Engineering, or Finance/Accounting.

  • Must possess, or successfully obtain within 180 days of contract award, a Six Sigma Black Belt certification.

  • This is a public trust position which requires the ability to pass pre-employment drug screen; ability to pass a post offer employment physical abilities test; ability to pass government background security clearance check (includes a credit check); must be able to retain a government public trust security level clearance; must be a U.S. Citizen

Working Environment:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those and employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Normally subjected to inside (warehouse) environmental conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. Adherence to OSHA guidelines is mandatory, and as such, donning of protective equipment/gear may be required.

Physical Demands (including but not limited to):

Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time. Ability to physically lift 50 lbs. when required. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus with corrections if necessary.
