Job summary

Advancia Government Services LLC is seeking a Quality Manager to lead quality assurance on a government site in Lee's Summit, MO. You will identify and prevent issues affecting contract performance, implement a quality control program, and supervise auditors and trainers.

The role requires 3 years in quality control operations, a Bachelor’s in a related field, and Six Sigma Black Belt (or ability to obtain within 180 days). U.S.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience in managing quality control operations.
• Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following disciplines: Program Management, Business/Public Administration, Production/Operations/Manufacturing/Quality Management, Technical Management, Information Systems, Engineering, or Finance/Accounting.
• Must possess, or obtain within 180 days of contract award, a Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• Public trust position requiring US citizenship and ability to pass background/security checks.

Responsibilities

• Identify and proactively prevent issues that can detract from contract performance.
• Implement a contractor project quality control program to ensure quality outcomes and training.
• Lead a team of quality auditors and tutors for audit and training functions.
• Analyze quality data and recommend changes to the Program Manager.
• Manage corrective action requests and document final disposition for quality issues.
• Coordinate quality performance with government personnel and the Program Manager.
• Provide guidance and implementation of the Contractor’s Quality Control Program onsite.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
