Job summary

WestRock Company in Washington state is seeking a Quality Manager to ensure quality standards are met and maintained by implementing compliance with customer, regulatory, and Smurfit Westrock processes at the production facility.

You will track and resolve internal and external quality issues, execute audits, deliver executive presentations, and drive continuous improvement with data-driven decisions alongside production managers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• ISO certification preferred.
• Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Experience in production/manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Track, analyze, and lead quality and customer complaint initiatives.
• Review, approve, and execute SOPs for site implementation.
• Monitor compliance with policies, regulatory requirements, and customer requirements.
• Coordinate internal, customer, supplier, subcontractor, and regulatory audits.
• Deliver executive-level presentations for customers and stakeholders.
• Work with production managers to maximize product quality and reliability while minimizing cost.
• Manage the CAPA system.
• Provide daily quality data and feedback to leadership.
• Ensure SQF documents are up to date and plant compliance.
• Lead investigations of risks or failures and corrective actions.
