Job summary

Smurfit Westrock seeks a Quality Manager to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements, drive quality initiatives, and resolve internal and external complaints. You will implement audits, monitor SOPs, and partner with production for continuous improvement within the facility.

You will lead CAPA processes, analyze data, and provide daily quality feedback to leadership. A strong background in SPC/SQC and relevant certifications is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 5 to 7 years in production/manufacturing.
• 3 to 5 years in a production supervisory role.
• Well‑versed in SPC/SQC analyses.
• ISO certification preferred.
• Six Sigma certification preferred.
• SQF Practitioner courses preferred.
• Hazard Analysis for Critical Control Points preferred.

Responsibilities

• Track, analyze, and lead internal quality and customer complaint initiatives.
• Review and approve SOPs for site implementation.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and customer requirements.
• Coordinate and conduct internal, supplier, customer, and regulatory audits.
• Deliver executive presentations for customers and stakeholders.
• Work with production managers to maximize quality and reliability.
