FEUER Powertrain North America, Inc. seeks a Quality Manager to lead the Quality Management System and ensure product integrity per ISO 9001 and IATF 16949. You will oversee QA, inspection, and metallurgical labs, co-own PFMEAs with Process Engineering, and drive data-driven problem solving.

The role requires mentoring staff, coordinating audits, and integrating customer requirements into the QMS while advancing continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Materials Science, Metallurgical, Mechanical, or Quality Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 1-2 years experience in Quality Engineering.
• Reliable and self-starting with a strong ethical and moral basis.
• Excellent communication skills with strong proficiency in MS Office.
• FMEA experience.
• Strong understanding of quality control procedures (ISO 9001) and problem solving tools (5-Why, 8D, etc.)
• Excellent math abilities and working knowledge of data analysis / statistical methods.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of the Quality Management System ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
• Gage calibration planning and coordination.
• Resource management and scheduling for Quality Engineering, Inspection Lab, and Metallurgical Lab.
• Collaborative PFMEA ownership with Process Engineering.
• Coordination of customer requirements and integration into the Quality Management System.
• Scheduling and coordination of internal and external audits (IATF 16949).
• Manage resolution of external and internal issues using structured problem solving tools (8D, 5-Why, etc.).
• Facilitate successful completion of Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and integrate latest industry developments in Quality Management strategies.
• Mentor and develop team members within direct reporting structure and across the organization.
• Monitor and report Key Performance Indicators for Quality Department.
