Job summary

Markent Personnel in Dayton is seeking a Quality Manager to own the quality program and assure AS9100 and ISO 9001 compliance across engineering, production, and customer-facing teams. You will drive root-cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement to deliver reliable, specification-conforming products.

The role requires 5+ years in quality leadership within manufacturing, 2+ years in supervision, and hands-on management of a certified quality system.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive quality management experience in manufacturing.
• 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Hands-on management of a certified quality system (AS9100/ISO 9001) required.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, manufacturing, or related technical field a plus.
• AS9100 or ISO internal auditor/lead auditor credentials are a plus.
• Strong root cause analysis, CAPA, SPC, and continuous improvement skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the quality system, ensuring AS9100 and ISO 9001 compliance.
• Plan registrar activities and manage internal audit program.
• Keep procedures and quality records current and effective.
• Lead root cause analysis and CAPA for internal and customer-reported issues.
• Track quality metrics and drive improvement actions.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and customers.
• Lead the quality team and develop staff.
• Communicate quality results to executive leadership and stakeholders.
