Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Quality Manager 1 (2nd Shift) to lead a team of 15–20 represented employees in Baltimore, MD. The role emphasizes driving monthly delivery targets, process improvements, and quality across programs.

The ideal candidate will manage QA activities, interface with engineering, and support ISO/LEAN initiatives while ensuring compliance and effective leadership in a fully on-site environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of quality/manufacturing experience; Master’s with 3 years; Associate’s with 7 years; or 9 years in lieu of degree.
• 2nd Shift availability is required.
• Experience leading teams and/or integrated projects.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead approximately 15–20 represented employees.
• Drive team to meet monthly delivery objectives per programs.
• Lead continuous improvement or lean projects in area or across areas.
• Provide direction on assessments, inventory issues, and related processes.
• Interface with engineering and program during major production phases.
• Support ISO, LEAN, and Quality initiatives.
• Document and standardize tasks and efforts.
• Interact with Labor Relations.
