Job summary

Jobot is seeking a strong Quality Manager in Denver to lead a skilled inspection team within a fast-growing aerospace contract manufacturer. You will own the quality system, drive AS9100/ISO 9001 compliance, and ensure GD&T and first article inspection standards are met across CNC machining and additive manufacturing, maintaining rigorous regulatory controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, materials science, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands on experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years of progressive quality experience in a precision manufacturing setting, ideally including aerospace, defense, or other tightly regulated industries.
• Direct experience operating within AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 systems, including audit preparation and maintenance.
• Familiarity with ITAR requirements and export controlled environments.
• GD&T, dimensional inspection, and first article inspection experience (AS9102 or similar).
• Strong root cause and corrective action (RCCA) skills (8D, fishbone, etc).
• Experience managing supplier quality, nonconformance processes, and internal audits.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a quality team and communicate with customers and leadership.

Job Details

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, materials science, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands on experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
• 5 or more years of progressive quality experience in a precision manufacturing setting, ideally including aerospace, defense, or other tightly regulated industries
• Direct experience operating within an AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 quality management system, including audit preparation and maintenance
• Familiarity with ITAR requirements and export controlled environments
• Working knowledge of CMMC or similar cybersecurity/compliance frameworks is a plus
• Experience with CNC machining and/or metal additive manufacturing quality requirements, including GD&T, dimensional inspection, and first article inspection (AS9102 or similar)
• Strong root cause and corrective action (RCCA) skills, including 8D, fishbone, and similar problem solving methodologies
• Experience managing supplier quality, nonconformance processes, and internal audits
• Proven ability to lead and develop a quality team, not just execute individual quality tasks
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to represent the quality function credibly to customers, auditors, and executive leadership
• Comfort operating in a fast paced, still maturing organization where processes are actively being built and refined
