Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years in Quality Systems/Quality Engineering within manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and audits.
  • Experience with PPAP, FMEA, IMDS and OEM quality processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and maintain Quality Management Systems including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 compliance programs.
  • Plan, conduct, and manage internal and external audits while driving CAPAs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and system performance.
  • Manage OEM customer quality requirements and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis, FMEA, risk assessments, and continuous improvement projects.

Description

The Key responsibilities of the QMS Engineer are:

  • Lead and maintain Quality Management Systems including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 compliance programs.
  • Plan, conduct, and manage internal and external audits while driving corrective and preventive actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional manufacturing, engineering, and operational teams to improve processes and system performance.
  • Manage OEM customer quality requirements, customer concerns, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis, FMEA activities, risk assessments, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Support PPAP documentation, IMDS submissions, environmental compliance efforts, and customer-facing quality activities.
Profile

The Successful QMS Engineer will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Systems, Quality Engineering, or Quality Management within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong expertise with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards and implementation.
  • Hands-on experience conducting audits, managing corrective actions, and driving compliance initiatives.
  • Working knowledge of PPAP, FMEA, IMDS, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and OEM quality processes.
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
