Job summary

Systematic Business Consulting in Fort Wayne is seeking a Quality Systems Engineer to lead quality system improvements, resolve customer and manufacturing quality issues, and drive continuous improvement on the production floor.

You will liaison between customers, operations, engineering, and quality to resolve concerns, manage ISO 9001 and IATF 16949, and lead root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and process optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing quality engineering experience.
• 5+ years working with manufacturing quality systems and IATF 16949.
• 3+ years using statistical quality tools such as SPC, process capability, or DOE.
• 3+ years supporting corrective actions, audits, customer quality, and continuous improvement.
• Minitab or similar statistical software experience.
• PPAP, APQP, FMEA, and Control Plan experience.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification or pursuit.
• Power Automate or similar automation experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality training and technical support to engineering and production teams.

The ideal candidate takes ownership of the QMS, proactively identifies risks, and develops solutions that work on the production floor—not just on paper.
