Job summary

ADM is seeking a Quality Manager for Specialty Ingredients in Decatur, IL. This role leads Food Safety/Quality compliance across North American SI sites, including lecithin and polyol sites, and supports regulatory requirements.

The position reports to the SI NA Regional Quality Manager and emphasizes change management, training, and maintaining certifications (BRC, Gluten Free, Organic). A 4-year degree with PCQI and 7 years of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires 4-year degree or equivalent plus 7 years of food safety experience in a food manufacturing environment, and PCQI training.
• Must have working knowledge of document management, COPQ, spreadsheets, and Excel.
• Preferred knowledge of Power BI reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to ensure Food Safety/Quality requirements are met across North American SI locations.
• Support SI Quality and Food Safety for lecithin and polyol sites and drive improvements.
• Lead Change Management to implement new or updated processes and procedures.
• Promote a culture of quality and lead by example.
• Develop, implement, and facilitate Quality and Food Safety training as needed.
• Maintain SI Quality/Training Food Safety Schedule and ensure NA locations are compliant.
• Monitor metrics supporting Quality and Food Safety.
• Manage and continuously improve written Food Safety/Quality programs and procedures.
• Ensure processes/systems enable 3rd party certifications (BRC, Gluten Free, Certified Organic) and FDA/CFIA compliance.
• Establish standard work templates and training matrices for SI division.
• Provide IT system support (PolicyTech and eQMS) in NA.
• Coordinate external project requests for the SI division.
• Demonstrate strong communication, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
