Job summary

ADM seeks a QA/QC leader to oversee quality and product safety programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer requirements. You will lead QC staff and Lab Manager, verify critical checks, and coordinate audits and corrective actions to maintain product integrity.

The role requires a BS in Food Science or equivalent with 5+ years in quality, knowledge of FDA/state regs, and strong leadership. On-site position in Clinton, IA with base pay structure and incentive opportunities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of FDA and state regulatory requirements.
• Trained in Preventive Controls for Human Food and/or Animal Food preferred.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong leadership, coaching and change-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team overseeing quality and product safety programs to ensure compliance with ADM, regulatory and customer requirements.
• Direct reports include QC staff and Lab Manager.
• Verify quality and product safety checks and ensure high risk activities are completed before shipment.
• Coordinate GMP inspections and prepare for customer audits and third party certifications (GFSI, FDA audits).
• Investigate manufacturing errors, develop CAPA reports and implement root-cause corrective actions.
• Develop site-specific work instructions and manage supplier and product testing in divisional programs.
