Job summary

Daimler Truck North America in Tooele, UT, is seeking a Senior Quality Leader to manage plant-level quality systems, processes, and teams, ensuring ISO 9001 and customer requirements are met.

You will drive continuous improvement, analyze data, lead audits, and collaborate across functions to reduce defects and COPQ. The role offers strong compensation and extensive benefits as part of DTNA's commitment to a high-performance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive manufacturing quality experience.
• 2 years of Team Lead or Supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and 14001.
• Experience in automotive or heavy-duty manufacturing quality.
• Proficiency with Lean/Continuous Improvement tools.
• Experience with 8D, A3, 5 Whys, PFMEA, PPAP, SPC, and MSA.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain ISO 9001 and customer-specific quality requirements.
• Supervise quality engineers, inspectors, and technicians.
• Coordinate resources and set daily priorities to meet objectives.
• Manage internal and external quality audits and controls.
• Drive root cause analysis to reduce COPQ and improve FPY.
• Interface with customers on quality concerns and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
• Lead Lean/Six Sigma initiatives and continuous improvement.
