Job summary

Lamb Weston in Idaho is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician responsible for collecting data on product quality attributes, grading products to customer specs, and filing QA data into the systems.

You will work with supervisors, operators, sanitation staff, and other QA team members to ensure safe, high-quality potato products and maintain clean, compliant work areas.

This role is part of Staffing for Excellence on the Day Shift, with opportunities for cross-training in other areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Must communicate in English verbally and in writing.
• Qualified within facility time frames established.
• Able to perform basic math and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Collects, delivers, and tests samples in accordance with plant procedures.
• Grades product to customer specifications and plant procedures.
• Collects, reviews, and files QA data accurately.
• Identifies trends and communicates to supervisor and floor team.
• Audits production and packaging processes.
• Trains back-ups and new team members.
• Maintains a neat, clean work area and good personal hygiene.
• May attend to other duties if QA Lab is fully staffed.
