Job summary

Lamb Weston is seeking a Tech Process Qual Control Trainee - Nights B in Boardman, Oregon. The role focuses on testing and inspecting products across production stages to ensure quality and safety, with data collection and analysis to drive improvements.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, basic math, data entry, and English proficiency. You will work in a manufacturing setting and participate in safety programs and weekend cleanup as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1–3 months of related experience and/or training preferred.
• English reading and writing proficiency required.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and data entry.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to work independently with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and participate in safety programs.
• Perform QA functions across multiple workstations and production areas.
• Collect, record, and enter quality and production data into QA forms and computer systems.
• Monitor product quality and report deviations to appropriate personnel.
• Sample and evaluate products for attributes including length, defects, color, texture, solids, packaging waste, case weights and temperatures.
• Conduct testing of dimensional, mechanical, electrical, and chemical characteristics as required.
• Record and maintain test results using statistical quality control procedures.
• Analyze data to verify compliance with standards and identify deviations.
• Recommend modifications to quality or production standards to improve product quality.
• Prepare reports, charts, graphs and documentation for analysis.
