Job summary

Loparex LLC in Hammond, WI is seeking a Lab Technician to support production by performing quality checks and following safety and production procedures. The shift runs Monday–Thursday from 5:00am to 5:00pm, with a base pay rate of $19.50 hourly plus premiums.

Responsibilities include sampling, testing various properties, data entry, and ensuring data integrity across systems such as PRISM and QDMS. A high school diploma and 2 years of plant experience are required, along with good communication

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
2 years plant experience.
Knowledge of laboratory procedures.
Basic math skill and computer skills (data entry).
Good written and oral communication skills, including ability to read and interpret test procedures.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Detail oriented.

Responsibilities

Cut, identify, and prepare samples of retains from production for testing, document results.
Inspect samples for defects and ensure material conforms to requirements.
Perform data entry into various databases (PRISM, QDMS, shop floor, Excel).
Put retain samples into cores for customers.
Store internal samples into cores for customers.
File 8 1/2x11 samples from production and document in spreadsheet.
