Job summary

Borregaard USA in Rothschild, Wisconsin seeks a full-time Lab Technician in the QC department. You will analyze samples, compare results to specs, and generate certificates of analysis to meet customer requests.

You’ll inspect equipment, maintain records, and support ISO 9001 and FSMA compliance while collaborating with a cross-functional team. The role requires a certificate or an associate degree in a quality program or 2+ years of quality experience, with a preferred associate degree and 3+

• Preferred: Associate’s degree in quality program and at least three years of experience in quality.

• Maintain records of all test results.
• Collect samples of plant effluent and sanitary sewer for testing.
• Assist with efforts to maintain ISO 9001 and FSMA registrations.
• Prepare samples for customer sampling.
• Work closely within a multifaceted, cross-functional team to communicate results, support production needs and ensure quality standards are met.

Job description

Borregaard USA has an opening at its Rothschild, Wisconsin manufacturing facility for a full-time Lab Technician in the QC department.

The primary responsibilities for this position include:

• Analyze samples of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products as required for production purposes
• Compare analytical results against product specifications to determine quality status
• Maintain inventory of retained samples and run supplemental testing when needed
• Generate certificates of analysis to meet customer requests
• Inspect and calibrate analytical equipment at prescribed intervals
• Maintain records of all test results
• Collect samples of plant effluent and sanitary sewer for testing
• Assist with efforts to maintain ISO 9001 and FSMA registrations
• Prepare samples for customer sampling
• Work closely within a multifaceted, cross-functional team to communicate results, support production needs and ensure quality standards are met.

Borregaard USA is a 24/7 manufacturing facility. Schedule will rotate through three shifts with other Lab Technicians: Monday - Friday mornings, Monday - Friday afternoons/evenings, and flex shift with weekend coverage.

Required qualifications:Certificate or Associate's degree in a quality program or at least 2 years of experience working in quality.

Preferred qualifications:Associate’s degree in quality program and at least three years of experience working in quality.
