Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, is seeking a QC Technician in Oklahoma. The role focuses on monitoring compliance with the AGP Total Quality Control Program and QC specifications across production lines, with responsibilities spanning laboratory testing, sieve analyses, color matching, data entry, and reporting to plant leadership.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, familiarity with lab equipment, strong numerical skills, and the ability to read manuals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent Vocational Training/Certification, other related experience or combination thereof.
• Familiar with lab equipment.
• Knowledge of ASTM standards for manufactured concrete products.

Responsibilities

• Performs laboratory testing and documents the results as required.
• Performs sieve analysis on aggregates and related products.
• Determines color matching on products by wet method.
• Tracks batch weights and ensures weights meet specifications.
• Enter data into Excel spreadsheets and maintain quality records.
• Sends out QA samples for independent testing.
• Informs Plant Manager of non-conforming products and reports daily activity.
