Job summary

Oldcastle APG is seeking a QC Technician to monitor and document compliance with the AGP Total Quality Control Program and QC specifications standards. The role requires hands-on laboratory testing, sieve analysis, weight checks, data logging in Excel, and supporting audits in a manufacturing setting.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, familiarity with lab equipment, and strong numerical and reporting skills. The position emphasizes safety and accurate data recording.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent Vocational Training/Certification.
• Familiar with lab equipment.
• Knowledge of ASTM standards for manufactured concrete products.
• Strong numerical skills.
• Ability to read and understand equipment manuals and directions.

Responsibilities

• Performs laboratory testing and documents results.
• Performs sieve analysis on aggregates and related products.
• Tracks weights and checkweigher data on lines.
• Enters data into Excel and maintains quality records.
• Notifies Plant Manager of non-conforming products.
• Supports internal and external audits.
• Keeps lab clean and organized.
