Job summary

Oldcastle, a CRH company, is seeking a Quality Control Technician to monitor and document compliance with the AGP Total Quality Control program and ASTM standards at our Oklahoma City plant. You will perform lab tests, sieve analysis on aggregates, moisture content checks, color matching, and data entry in Excel; maintain quality records and report findings to the Plant Manager.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Familiar with lab equipment and QC practices.
• Knowledge of ASTM standards for concrete products.

Responsibilities

• Performs laboratory testing and documents results.
• Performs sieve analysis on aggregates and related products.
• Performs moisture content analysis.
• Determines color matching using wet method.
• Monitors weights and checkweigher on production lines.
• Tracks bag weights and assesses deviations.
• Reviews batch tickets for weight compliance.
• Ensures correct formulas are used in production.
• Tracks outside scale calibration and records.
• Sends QA samples for independent testing.
• Enters data into Excel and maintains quality records.
• Reports non-conforming products to Plant Manager.
• Supports internal and external audits.
• Compiles reports for QC director and plant manager.
• Attends safety meetings and follows policies.
• Keeps lab clean and organized.
