Job summary

Actus Nutrition in Florida is seeking a Quality Manager to oversee product safety, quality and regulatory compliance at our manufacturing plant. You will develop and implement a preventative quality system, set specifications, train operators, test ingredients and finished products, and oversee labeling and quality communications with Sales and Operations.

This role offers a direct impact on our growth and product performance.

Qualifications

5 years of QA management experience in manufacturing.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Life Science or related area.
Strong knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and computer software applications.
Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
Previous supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

Lead QA to drive a preventative quality program at the facility.
Establish specifications for finished products, in‑process testing and ingredients.
Recruit, coach, and supervise all QA personnel and training programs.
Prepare and manage the laboratory budget and reduce costs.
Coordinate audits of internal, vendor and contract manufacturers.
Maintain QA data systems and perform statistical analysis on production data.
Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory policies and practices.
