Job summary

Actus Nutrition is seeking a Quality Manager to oversee product safety, quality, and regulatory compliance for the manufacturing plant in the United States. The role includes developing a preventative quality system, training staff, testing ingredients and products, labeling, and communicating trends to sales and plant personnel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing QA management.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory testing procedures.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Experience in a food-grade manufacturing facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the QA program at the facility.
• Establish and enforce QA specifications for finished products, in-process testing, and ingredients.
• Coordinate audits and ensure FDA/HACCP/GMP compliance.
• Lead, coach and supervise QA personnel; develop education programs.
• Manage lab budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Investigate customer complaints and provide timely resolutions.
