Job summary

Actus Nutrition is seeking a Quality Manager to oversee product safety, quality and regulatory compliance for the manufacturing plant. You will develop and implement a preventative QA program, manage lab testing and supplier quality, and lead training for QA staff.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of QA management in manufacturing, a Life Science degree, strong analytical skills, and experience supervising teams in a fast-paced environment. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 5 years manufacturing QA management experience
• Strong knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and computer software applications
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Previous supervisory experience

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop QA team to uphold quality standards
• Implement and monitor QA program per policy and procedures
• Establish QA specs for finished products, in-process testing and ingredients
• Oversee supplier QA and incoming materials specifications
• Manage QA laboratory budget and cost reduction opportunities
• Conduct internal, vendor and contract manufacturing audits
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory policies
• Educate production personnel on product quality monitoring
