Job summary

Ahlstrom Mosinee Plant in Wisconsin seeks a Quality Intern for Summer 2027 to assist the Quality & Finishing Team in achieving safety, quality, production, cost and product development goals on a paper machine line.

You will participate in trials, support development plans, and contribute to manufacturing excellence while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Paper Science or Chemical Engineering degree.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Living in or relocating to Mosinee, Wisconsin area for Summer 2027.

We are seeking a Quality Intern at our Mosinee, Wisconsinplant for the Summer of 2027. This position will assist the Quality & Finishing Team in the achievement of safety, quality, production, cost, and product development objectives of a paper machine process line.

Pay Rate

• $27.00 per hour

Requirements

• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
• Actively pursuing a Paper Science or Chemical Engineeringdegree program
• Living in or willing to relocate to the Mosinee, Wisconsin area from June - August 2027
• Ability to work full-time for the duration of the position
• Strong desire to work within a fast-paced, manufacturing environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization
• Strong technical aptitude and proven problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

• Must follow Ahlstrom’s manufacturing and hygiene processes, procedures and policies, as applicable, to the position’s areas of responsibility, in order to meet and maintain the safety, quality, and regulatory compliance requirements for each grade of paper
• Evaluate product improvement or cost optimization projects by conducting trials including development of trial plans and authoring trial reports
• Support machine manager in leading a paper machine process line, including daily and long-term activities
