Job summary

Advance CNC Machining is seeking a meticulous Quality Inspector for off-shift and weekend work in our Grove City, Ohio facility. You will perform precision inspections on machined parts using CMMs and traditional gauges, read engineering drawings, and develop inspection plans to ensure accuracy.

The role emphasizes teamwork with production, engineering, and management to identify quality issues, conduct floor audits, review CMM reports, and approve first articles.

Qualifications

Quality Inspector Off Shift – Custom Machine Shop 2nd and Weekend shifts (flexible work hours) Up to $32/hour DOE

Advance CNC Machining is looking for an experienced Quality Inspector who is extremely detail-oriented, focused, conscientious, and driven to get things right.

What You'll Do

• Perform precision inspections on machined parts using CMM’s and other inspection tools such as gages, calipers, micrometers, and bore gages.
• Analyze drawings and create inspection plans to determine the best method of inspection for efficiency and accuracy.
• Work closely with the production team, engineers, and management to communicate quality issues and provide input on improvements
• Conduct floor audits including visual and dimension inspection and work closely with the team to catch issues early to prevent scrap.
• Assess risks and discern appropriate action
• Review and interpret CMM inspection reports to ensure parts meet quality standards
• Conduct first article approvals

Compensation & Benefits

• Up to $32/hour, depending on experience
• 401(k) with a generous 100% employer match up to $5,200 per year
• 80 hours of PTO in your first year, increasing annually up to 200 hours
