Job summary

Advance CNC Machining is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for off-shift work in Ohio. The role involves interpreting drawings, loading and loading materials, tool changes, and ensuring high-precision parts meet tolerances.

You’ll operate Makino 4- and 5-axis milling centers, often with automation, to deliver quality parts for diverse industries. We offer up to $35/hour DOE, a $2,500 sign-on bonus, plus a robust benefits package including 401(k) match, PTO, holidays and health insurance.

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting blueprints and drawings with tolerances.
• Proficient with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM).
• Ability to read and interpret CMM data including GD&T.
• Experience operating Makino 4-5 axis machines is a strong plus.
• Solid mechanical aptitude with problem-solving mindset.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Interpreting technical drawings and blueprints to understand part geometry, features, and tolerances.

CNC Machinist – Off Shift

$2,500 Sign-On Bonus — $1,250 at 90 Days + $1,250 at 6 Months

2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM–2:30 AM

Weekend Shift: Friday–Sunday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM

What You'll Do

As an experienced CNC Machinist, you'll bring technical designs to life while maintaining the accuracy, consistency, and quality our customers depend on.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Interpreting technical drawings and blueprints to understand part geometry, features, and tolerances.
• Operating multiple Makino 4 & 5-Axis CNC milling machine centers, many with the help of automation.
• Loading raw materials, securing workpieces, changing tools, and making offsetsfor efficient andaccuratemachining.
• Inspecting and measuring finished partsusing calipers, micrometers, CMM,and other precision tools.
• Reviewing and understanding CMM reports to verify dimensional accuracy.
• Completing inspection and production reports to ensure documentation and workflow accuracy.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Compensation & Benefits

• Up to $35/hour, depending on experience
• 401(k) with a 100% employer match up to $5,200 per year
• 80 hours of PTO in your first year, increasing annually up to 200 hours
