Job summary

Advance CNC Machining is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector for off-shift and weekend roles. You will perform precision inspections on machined parts using CMMs and other tools, develop inspection plans from drawings, and collaborate with production for continuous quality improvements.

The role requires 3 years of hands-on inspection experience, strong tolerance understanding, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Quality Inspector Off Shift – Custom Machine Shop
2nd and Weekend shifts (flexible work hours)
Up to $32/hour DOE

Advance CNC Machining is looking for an experienced Quality Inspector who is extremely detail-oriented, focused, conscientious, and driven to get things right.

At Advance CNC Machining, we specialize in producing high-precision machined parts for customers across the country, including equipment manufacturers and customers in the food, pharmaceutical, aerospace, and defense industries. What You'll Do

• Perform precision inspections on machined parts using CMM’s and other inspection tools such as gages, calipers, micrometers, and bore gages.
• Analyze drawings and create inspection plans to determine the best method of inspection for efficiency and accuracy.
• Work closely with the production team, engineers, and management to communicate quality issues and provide input on improvements
• Conduct floor audits including visual and dimension inspection and work closely with the team to catch issues early to prevent scrap.
• Assess risks and discern appropriate action
• Review and interpret CMM inspection reports to ensure parts meet quality standards
• Conduct first article approvals

Compensation & Benefits

• Up to $32/hour, depending on experience
• 401(k) with a generous 100% employer matchup to $5,200 per year
• 80 hours of PTO in your first year, increasing annually up to 200 hours
