Job summary

Quest Global seeks a Quality Inspector MRO to perform inspections on aircraft parts and components at our Phoenix facility. The role focuses on receiving, in-process, final, and return-to-service inspections with strict adherence to FAA Part 145 and related regulations.

You will verify documentation, test data, and traceability, collaborate with technicians to resolve issues, and support AS9100/AS9110 audits. On-site work includes lifting up to 40 lbs and commuting responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years experience preferred.
• Experience with technical data, drawings and maintenance records.
• Attention to detail, accuracy and collaboration with technical teams.
• Proficient with measurement/test equipment and SAP/MRO software.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process, final, and return-to-service inspections on aircraft parts and components.
• Ensure compliance with FAA Part 145, FAR 43 & 65, manufacturer specs and procedures.
• Identify defects, measure and test components, verify condition and documentation.
• Review and verify work orders, test data, logbooks, and engineering instructions.
• Sign official return-to-service forms (FAA 8130-3).
• Confirm traceability and certification of parts and materials used.
• Document findings and corrective actions in quality management system.
• Support AS9100 / AS9110 audits.

POSITION: Quality Inspector MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul)

What You Will Do

• Perform receiving, in‑process, final, and return‑to‑service inspections on aircraft parts and components
• Ensure all work complies with applicable regulations (e.g., FAA Part 145, FAR 43 & 65), manufacturer specifications, and company procedures
• Identify defects, measure and test components using specialized tools, and verify proper condition and documentation
• Review and verify work orders, test data, logbooks, and engineering instructions; sign official return‑to‑service forms (e.g., FAA Form 8130‑3)
• Confirm parts and materials used during maintenance are traceable and certified
• Conduct audits of work‑in‑progress and completed work; coordinate with technicians and other inspectors to resolve issues
• Document findings, rejections, and corrective actions in line with the quality management systems
• Support AS9100 /AS9110 Audits

What You Will Bring

• High School Diploma / GED and 2+ years experience, technical training, or aviation-related course preferred
• Prior inspection or quality control experience: familiarity with technical data, drawings, and maintenance records
• Attention to detail, accuracy, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with technical teams
• Use of measurement/ test equipment, SAP / MRO software, and Microsoft office products

Pay Range:

$28-$32/hr

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Work Requirements

This role is considered an on-site position located in Phoenix, AZ

• You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
• Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Due to the nature of the work, no travel is required.
