Job summary

CAS Composite, an aviation MRO in Medley, Florida, seeks a Quality Inspector to join our team and uphold the highest standards in repair and overhaul. You will perform detailed inspections of aircraft components and verify compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

You will use precision measuring instruments, document findings clearly, and collaborate with Quality and Production teams throughout the process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; aviation training or certifications preferred.
• MRO experience required and proficiency with aircraft documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret CMM, SRM, AMM, IPC, and engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy; able to document inspection findings clearly.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish; travel for international assignments may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed preliminary inspections of aircraft components to verify compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct visual inspections to identify damage, mechanical issues, and other conditions requiring evaluation.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments, gauges, and testing equipment to assess component condition and conformity.
• Identify and document defects, non-conformities, and deviations from specifications; report findings to Quality.
• Review and interpret technical documentation and drawings; maintain inspection records and documentation.
• Collaborate with Production and Quality teams throughout the inspection and repair process.
• Maintain current knowledge of systems, procedures, documentation, and technologies used in aircraft maintenance and inspection.

Job description

At CAS Composite, we're looking for a Quality Inspector to join our 10/10 team

• Rate: $35/h - $40/h
• Employment: Full-time

This position requires hands-on MRO experience, strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance documentation, and the ability to perform detailed inspections of aircraft components in accordance with applicable quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• * Perform detailed preliminary inspections of aircraft components to verify compliance with quality standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
• * Conduct visual inspections to identify damage, mechanical issues, abnormalities, and other conditions requiring further evaluation.
• * Utilize precision measuring instruments, gauges, and testing equipment to assess component condition and conformity.
• * Identify and document defects, non-conformities, and deviations from specifications, and report findings to the Quality Department.
• * Identify worn, damaged, or obsolete parts requiring replacement.
• * Review and interpret applicable technical documentation, including CMMs, SRMs, AMMs, IPCs, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• * Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.
• * Follow established quality procedures and inspection protocols.
• * Collaborate with Production and Quality teams throughout the inspection and repair process.li>
• * Maintain current knowledge of systems, procedures, technical documentation, and technologies used in aircraft maintenance and inspection.

Requirements & Qualifications

• * Previous MRO experience required.
• * Practical experience working with and interpreting aircraft technical information, including CMM, SRM, AMM, IPC, and engineering drawings.
• * Proficiency with precision measuring instruments, gauges, and inspection/testing equipment.
• * Strong understanding of quality control and inspection practices within an aviation maintenance environment.
• * Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• * Ability to properly document and communicate inspection findings.li>
• * Ability to work effectively with Quality and Production teams.
• * English and Spanish required.
• * Availability for international travel required.
• * High school diploma or equivalent; additional aviation-related technical training or certifications are preferred.
