Job summary

Lake Air Products is seeking a Weekend Shift Quality Inspector for our New Hope, MN facility. You will perform first-piece inspections, support quality processes, and ensure ISO/QC system compliance on a weekend schedule.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in quality inspection, GD&T knowledge, and an AA degree or equivalent; ASQ/ISO9001/Lean Six Sigma certifications are a plus. Travel to the plant may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years of quality inspection experience.
• Knowledge of GD&T and QC methods.
• AA degree or equivalent training preferred; certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform all first-piece inspections as required.
• Support and follow all quality processes.
• Comply with ISO and quality system requirements.
• Perform all incoming and in-process inspections as directed.
• Assist production and less experienced inspectors with IP inspections.
• Track defect data and participate in corrective actions.

We are currently seeking a Weekend Shift Quality Inspector to join our growing location in New Hope , MN. The Quality Inspector is a point of contact for employees who have questions regarding non-conformity parts, material, and tool calibration.

Responsibilities

• Perform all 1 st piece inspections as required


• Support and follow all Quality processes


• Comply with ISO & quality system requirements


• Perform all In-Coming and in-process inspections as directed


• Assist production & less experienced inspectors with IP inspections


• Track defect data and participate in corrective actions

Qualifications

• Ability to use Height Gages and standard bench measuring equipment


• Knowledge of GD&T


• Knowledge of Inspections and quality control methods


• 3 Years of Quality Inspection experience required.


• AA Degree or equivalent training is preferred


• Preferred certificates, License or Registration in ASQ Certification, ISO 9001 Certification, Project Management, and Lean/Six Sigma
