Job summary

Sundt Enterprise in the United States is seeking a Quality Inspector II to perform complex inspections of materials and workmanship, verify compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards, and provide technical support to junior inspectors and project teams on-site.

You will review drawings, manage inspection records, coordinate third-party testing, and participate in audits, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions to maintain quality and safety across projects.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; further qualification preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of quality inspection in construction/manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Proficient with inspection tools and blueprints; knowledge of relevant codes (AWS, AISC, ASME, API, ACI) is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ITPs, QCPs, and method statements preparation and review.
• Conduct detailed inspections of materials and workmanship to ensure spec compliance.
• Document findings, NCRs, and CARs in project tracking systems.
• Mentor junior inspectors and coordinate third-party inspections.
