Job summary

Sundt Enterprise is hiring a Quality Inspector to ensure materials, components, and processes meet quality standards. You will read blueprints, document findings, and work with production and engineering to fix issues.

The role requires attention to detail, experience with inspection tools, and knowledge of quality systems. Flexible shifts and growth opportunities are offered by Sundt.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in quality inspection/QA in manufacturing or construction environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Basic computer skills and data entry experience.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Familiarity with QMS and standards such as ISO 9001, ACI, ASME, or AWS.
• Proficiency with inspection tools and calibration knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and implementation of QC plans and procedures.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and QA to resolve quality issues.
• Document inspection results and maintain records per policies.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality policies.
• Identify non-conforming materials and initiate corrective actions.
• Participate in internal and external audits as required.
• Inspect incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Read blueprints and technical drawings; interpret specifications.
• Use inspection tools to measure and verify conformance.
