Job summary

RBC Bearings Incorporated, through its Sargent legacy, is seeking a second-shift Quality Inspector to perform in-process and final inspections at the Tucson facility. You will interpret drawings, use micrometers, calipers, height gauges and bore gauges to ensure conformance to AS9102 first article requirements and customer specs.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in a manufacturing setting with GD&T knowledge, be able to mentor junior inspectors, and adhere to ITAR/EAR compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in an ISO9001/AS9100 manufacturing environment.
• 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated mechanical inspection background.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Must possess basic math skills and have good reading comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and report on materials, processes and products to assure conformance with quality standards.
• Perform in-process and final inspections for machine shop and production products.
• Perform receiving inspection on incoming product.
• Create and complete first articles to AS9102.
• Train and mentor less experienced inspectors.
