Job summary

Oerlikon in Lake Orion seeks an Inspector to enter customer order information, inspect and rack products, and ensure accurate packaging and shipping in a fast-paced, self-directed role.

You will work with customers to understand ongoing needs, translate them into workable specifications, perform front-end and back-end processing decisions, use XRF equipment to document coating thickness, and participate in the monthly Quality Council.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to read/write/speak English and work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect customer product for processing.
• Inspect the finished product.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Learn new skills and cross-train into various departments.
• Act as a member of the monthly Quality Council.
