Job summary

Fehrer Automotive North America LLC in Gadsden, AL is seeking a Production Operator to safely control machines and equipment used in production. The role involves cleaning molds, handling materials, and ensuring release agents are used correctly to prevent part damage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; English reading/comprehension of work instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret basic English work instructions and general production information.
• Experience in manufacturing is preferred (1 year).
• Proficient with MS Office for documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Remove excess foam and buildup from molds by scrubbing with a tuffy and/or plastic pick.
• Identify nonconforming material and dispose of it properly.
• Communicate quality issues to operators, shift lead, and supervisor.
• Spray mold using a hand operated sprayer and clean with air gun.
• Place material into molds and ensure proper release agent usage to avoid sticking.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
