Job summary

Kelso Industries is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team on site in the United States. The role involves welding inspections, interpreting weld maps, and ensuring compliance with project QA plans and ITPs.

You will work with NDT methods, maintain documentation, and support site leadership while upholding safety and quality standards. Requires 4+ years in quality inspection, and certifications such as AWS CWI or ASNT VT II or API 510/570.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years as Quality Inspector or Quality Technician.
• Must hold AWS CWI, ASNT VT II, and/or API 510/570 certifications.
• Extensive knowledge of NDT methods (UT, MT, PT, RT).
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and Procore or similar PM software.
• Ability to travel and relocate as needed.
• Familiarity with codes and standards (ASME, AWS, ACI, AISC, NACE).

Responsibilities

• Create, interpret, and understand Weld Map Isometric drawings using computer software.
• Enter welding and inspection information into the tracking tool.
• Assist with pressure testing plans and functions.
• Assemble project documentation packages.
• Perform inspections based on drawings, specs, and procedures to determine compliance.
• Test welders and perform weld inspections under various codes.
• Follow Project Quality Assurance Plans and ITPs.
• Assist Site Quality Manager with daily activities.
• Maintain commitment to Mullins core values and safety policies.
