Job summary

Innova Solutions seeks a Quality Inspector for our Londonderry, NH site. You will perform precision mechanical inspections from drawings using calipers, micrometers, CMMs, and optical tooling, and conduct first article inspections with detailed reporting.

The ideal candidate holds IPC-A-610 certification, Hexagon CMM (PC-DMIS) experience, and strong documentation skills. This is a first-shift, onsite position with a 12-month duration and potential contract-to-hire.

Qualifications

• IPC-A-610 Certification is required.
• Hexagon CMM certification (PC-DMIS software) preferred.
• Optical lens inspection experience and measurement tooling knowledge.
• Interpreting drawings/blueprints for inspection criteria.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision mechanical inspections from drawings using calipers, micrometers, CMMs and optical tooling.
• Conduct visual inspections of assemblies with microscopes and magnifiers.
• Generate detailed first article inspection reports when required.
• Communicate discrepancies verbally and in written reports to SQE/SQT.
• Maintain accurate records per policies and procedures.
• Support supplier audits and MRB meetings as needed.

Quality Inspector - Construction & Manufacturing

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Quality Inspector.

Position Type: Full time contract, Possible Contract to Hire

Duration: 12months

Location: Londonderry, NH 03053 (Onsite/1 st shift 7AM-4:30PM)

As a Quality Inspector you will:

• Perform precision mechanical inspections from dimensioned drawings using calipers, micrometers, surface plate, height gages, gage blocks, gage pins, optical comparator, toolmakers microscope, coordinate measuring machine, and other standard inspection equipment.
• Perform visual inspections of electronic assemblies using microscopes & magnifiers.
• Perform first article inspections and generate detailed reports when required.
• Communicate discrepant findings verbally and via written discrepancy reports to Supplier Quality Engineers/Technicians (SQE/SQT).
• Independently perform source inspection at local suppliers.
• Participate in MRB meetings to support SQE/SQT’s.
• Accurately maintain records and documents in accordance with policies and procedures
• Identify equipment needs for jobs requiring new or custom metrology tools.
• Identify Dock to Stock (DTS) candidates per established procedures. Present nominations to SQE.
• Work closely with buyers, planners, design engineers, manufacturing engineers, quality engineers and program leadership.
• Support SQE/SQT with routine supplier audits when required.

The Ideal Candidate will have:

• High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• Experience maintaining records and documents in accordance with policies and procedures
• IPC-A-610 Certification
• Hexagon CMM certification (PC-DMIS software)
• Keyence Vision system programming experience
• Optical lens inspection experience
• Interpreting drawing/blueprints
• Inspection tooling: Guages, calipers, micrometers.

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis. 1099 contractors and Corp-to-Corp arrangements will not be considered for this position.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $26-$28/hr

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
