Innova Solutions is seeking a Quality Inspector in Simpsonville, SC for a full-time, 6+ month contract with potential extension. Responsibilities include FAI per AS9102, first piece and in-process inspections, and documentation of quality records.

Qualifications include GD&T drawing interpretation, proficiency with micrometers, calipers, Optical Comparator, and MS Office. W-2 engagement only; pay range $25.00–$30.00 per hour with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Able to interpret technical (GD&T) drawings.
• Highly proficient in using handheld tools (micrometers, calipers, Optical Comparator) and other measuring/test equipment.
• General proficiency of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Able to raise simple reports.
• Understand CORE tools.
• Certified Quality Inspector.

Responsibilities

• Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) and Delta FAI per AS9102 requirements.
• Inspect at first piece, in-process and final inspection per Job Instructions Sheet plans.
• Maintain and improve 5S standards at workstations and related areas.
• Document inspection stamping on quality paperwork.
• Review FAIs to ensure completion.
• Explain FAIs to customers on-site or via calls when needed.
• Able to communicate status of FAIs across the organization.

Quality Inspector Position type: Full Time, Contract Duration: 6 + months with possible extension Location: Simpsonville, South Carolina

As a Quality Inspector, you will:

• Applicant must have extensive knowledge of creating and reviewing FAIs.
• Perform job inspection at first piece, in process and final inspection per the Job Instructions Sheet plans.
• Knowledge of WHMA and IPC specifications
• Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) and Delta FAI per AS9102 requirements.
• Demonstrate proper use and maintenance of gages and inspection equipment.
• Perform proper documentation including inspection stamping of quality paperwork.
• Maintain and improve 5S standards on workstations and responsible areas.
• Adhere to company EH&S policies and guidelines.
• Review FAIs to ensure completion.
• Balloon Drawing for FAI completion.
• Meet with customers either on-site or via calls to explain FAIs, if needed.
• Able to communicate with all levels of the organization on the status of FAIs.

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $25.00/hr to $30.00/hr *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
