Job summary

Innova Solutions is seeking a Quality Inspector for a 12-month, full-time contract in Londonderry, NH (on-site). The role involves precision mechanical inspections, visual inspections of assemblies, and documentation of findings. Requires IPC-A-610, Hexagon PC-DMIS/CMM certification, and strong blueprint interpretation.

On-site 1st shift, $26–$28/hr, benefits available. Qualified candidates will maintain records, support supplier audits, and collaborate with engineers and program leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 6+ years relevant experience or 2 years post-secondary with 2+ years related experience.
• IPC-A-610 Certification.
• Hexagon CMM certification (PC-DMIS software).
• Keyence Vision system programming experience.
• Optical lens inspection experience.
• Interpreting drawings/blueprints.
• Inspection tooling: gauges, calipers, micrometers.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision mechanical inspections from drawings using calipers, micrometers, CMM, optical devices.
• Perform visual inspections of electronic assemblies using microscopes/magnifiers.
• Generate first article inspection reports when required.
• Record results and communicate discrepancies to SQE/SQT.
• Support supplier audits and MRB meetings as needed.
• Maintain records in compliance with procedures.

Job description

A client of Innova Solutionsis immediately hiring a Quality Inspector.

Position Type: Full time contract, Possible Contract to Hire

Duration: 12months

Location: Londonderry, NH 03053 (Onsite/1st shift 7AM-4:30PM)

As a Quality Inspector you will:

• Perform precision mechanical inspections from dimensioned drawings using calipers, micrometers, surface plate, height gages, gage blocks, gage pins, optical comparator, toolmakers microscope, coordinate measuring machine, and other standard inspection equipment.
• Perform visual inspections of electronic assemblies using microscopes & magnifiers.
• Perform first article inspections and generate detailed reports when required.
• Communicate discrepant findings verbally and via written discrepancy reports to Supplier Quality Engineers/Technicians (SQE/SQT).
• Independently perform source inspection at local suppliers.
• Participate in MRB meetings to support SQE/SQT’s.
• Accurately maintain records and documents in accordance with policies and procedures
• Identify equipment needs for jobs requiring new or custom metrology tools.
• Identify Dock to Stock (DTS) candidates per established procedures. Present nominations to SQE.
• Work closely with buyers, planners, design engineers, manufacturing engineers, quality engineers and program leadership.
• Support SQE/SQT with routine supplier audits when required.

The Ideal Candidate will have:

• High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• Experience maintaining records and documents in accordance with policies and procedures
• IPC-A-610 Certification
• Hexagon CMM certification (PC-DMIS software)
• Keyence Vision system programming experience
• Optical lens inspection experience
• Interpreting drawing/blueprints
• Inspection tooling: Guages, calipers, micrometers.

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis. 1099 contractors and Corp-to-Corp arrangements will not be considered for this position.

Pay Range

Pay Range*: $26-$28/hr
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
