Adecco Staffing is assisting a Medical Device Manufacturer in Bedford, MA to recruit a Clean Room Assembler. The role emphasizes mechanical inspection, blueprint reading, and use of precision measuring tools in a cleanroom environment.

You will document results in SAP, apply barcodes, and maintain accurate records while following SOPs. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with a pay rate around $25–$26.80 per hour, depending on experience.

Adecco Staffing is assisting a Medical Device Manufacturer in Bedford MA in sourcing for a Clean Room Assembler! Ideal candidates have a strong mechanical background & a background in clean room environments!

Location: Bedford, MA

Schedule: Sunday- Thursday 10pm-6:30am

Pay Rate: $25/hr

Position Overview: Seeking a Clean Room Assembler with strong mechanical inspection experience to inspect incoming materials and products for quality and conformance to specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience reading blueprints, using precision measuring equipment, and working with inspection documentation. ASQ certification and SAP experience are preferred.

• Inspect incoming materials, components, and products for quality and conformance to specifications.
• Use fixed, preset, and precision measuring instruments to perform inspections.
• Read and understand mechanical drawings and blueprints.
• Verify materials meet established quality, tolerance, and performance requirements.
• Inspect incoming materials and chemicals and document results.
• Enter inspection data and disposition materials in SAP.
• Apply barcodes to incoming materials and use barcode scanners.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.
• Follow established procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and inspection area.
• Support special inspection assignments and other duties as directed.

Requirements

• Previous mechanical inspection or quality inspection experience.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
• Experience using measuring and inspection equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
• Ability to accurately document inspection results and material dispositions.
• Willingness to develop knowledge of GD&T, FDA/GMP, and SOPs.

Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:

• High School degree or equivalent preferred.
• 0-2 years applicable experience in a manufacturing using a microscope or equivalent environment preferred. Equivalent is understood as having performed similar tasks, utilized similar tools and equipment, and worked towards defined quality and productivity standards. Other industry experience and transferable skills/experience may be considered.

Skills & Capabilities:

• Demonstrated ability to follow English written and verbal procedures.

Work Environment (US only): The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate. Must be able to detect, identify and inspect scientific data. The employee will be required to stand and/or walk up to 8 hours per day and/or sit for up to 8 hours per day. Must be able to use hands to feel objects, including keyboard, telephone and pipettes or other lab equipment. May need to reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel or crouch. Will be required to talk and hear and have specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. May occasionally have to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment will vary but is usually moderate. This position is very active and requires varying levels of mobility.

Pay Details: $26.80 per hour
