A Quality Inspector role at Adecco Portugal focuses on precise inspection within a regulated medical device environment. You will read engineering drawings, inspect materials and in-process products, and verify dimensions using calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, and gauge tools.
You will document results, support NCRs and CAPAs, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues while contributing to 5S and Lean Six Sigma improvement efforts.
Do you have experience in quality inspection and enjoy working with precision measuring tools? We’re looking for a Quality Inspector to join a medical device manufacturing operation where quality, accuracy, and attention to detail are critical.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on inspection work, reading engineering drawings, identifying quality issues, and working with different departments to solve problems.
Inspecting incoming materials and finished or in‑process products.
Using calipers, micrometers, Optical Comparators, and Go/No-Go Gauges to verify dimensions.
Comparing products against engineering drawings and specifications.
Performing visual, dimensional, and functional inspections.
Documenting inspection results and collecting quality data.
Identifying and escalating products that do not meet specifications.
Supporting NCRs, CAPAs, complaint investigations, and root cause analysis.
Partnering with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve quality concerns.
Participating in 5S, Lean Six Sigma, and continuous improvement projects.
Helping maintain quality standards within a regulated medical device manufacturing environment.
A High School Diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.
Previous experience in an ISO 13485 or ISO 9001 facility.
Strong experience performing quality inspections.
Experience with Optical Comparators, Micrometers, Calipers, and Go/No-Go Gauges.
Knowledge of ASQ/ANSI Z1.4 sampling plans.
Experience supporting CAPAs, NCRs, customer complaints, root cause investigations, and corrective actions.
Great attention to detail and a problem‑solving mindset.
ASQ Quality Technician training or Certified Quality Technician preparation.
Experience with Keyence equipment and pre‑written inspection programs.
Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
