Quality Inspector

Are you detail-oriented with a strong background in quality inspection and precision measurement? Adecco Staffing is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Billerica, MA. What You'll Do

• Perform first-article and in-process inspections throughout multiple stages of manufacturing.
• Use precision measurement equipment, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, test equipment, and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
• Verify geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), part specifications, tolerances, and functionality.
• Identify, document, and report product and component defects or nonconformities.
• Maintain accurate inspection records, measurements, test results, and corrective action documentation.
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality concerns and support compliance with customer requirements and industry standards.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of manufacturing inspection or related quality experience.
• Experience with precision measurement tools and inspection techniques.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and GD&T.
• Familiarity with CMM equipment, measurement gauges, calipers, and micrometers.
• Knowledge of quality standards and documentation requirements.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical training or certification in quality control, inspection, or a related field preferred.
• Manual dexterity and visual acuity necessary to accurately inspect and measure parts.

Pay Details: $27.00 to $35.00 per hour
