Job summary

Gemini Plastics Inc. in Levittown, PA is seeking a Quality Inspector for the 2nd shift. You will inspect parts from multiple presses, compare to prints, and document findings to ensure products meet specifications. Training is provided for those transitioning from machining or production roles.

You will work on a full-time, on-site basis with overtime built into the weekly schedule. Competency in calipers, micrometers, and gauges is valued, along with a commitment to ISO 13485 standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of quality inspection in manufacturing, preferably on injection-molded or plastic parts.
• Visual and dimensional inspection with calipers, micrometers and gauges.
• Reading blueprints and inspection criteria.
• Accurate documentation, including nonconformance reports.
• Familiarity with ISO 13485 or ISO 9001.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts against the prints during each shift.
• Pull samples from presses and measure critical dimensions.
• Tag and hold out-of-spec parts and document findings.
• Collaborate with setup tech to identify root causes of drifts.
• Maintain quality records for ISO 13485 customers.
