Job summary

Trillium Staffing is seeking a Quality Inspector for a CNC manufacturing company in Genesee County, Michigan. The 2nd shift runs 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, with a $2 shift premium, for a pay range of $18–$20 per hour depending on experience.

You will test and inspect products at various stages of production, perform Receiving/Incoming, In-process and Final inspections, maintain 5S and QA file structures, and calibrate gauges.

Qualifications

• Experience performingReceiving & Incoming Inspections, 1st Piece/Set-Up Inspections, In-process & Final Inspections.
• Familiar with using measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, height gauge).
• Ability to perform basic math and data entry.
• Must pass pre-employment screens and maintain reliable attendance.

Job description

Quality Inspector needed for CNC manufacturing company located in Genesee County.

2nd shift 3pm-11:30pm Monday-Friday, Pay $18-20/hour depending on experience. Shift comes with $2 shift premium. A Quality Technician is responsible for testing and inspecting products at various stages of the production process.

Their duties include, but are not limited to:

• Receiving & Incoming Inspections
• 1st Piece / Set-Up Inspections
• In-process & Final Inspections
• Maintaining a 5S Work Environment
• Maintaining the QA File Structures & Storage
• Gage Calibration

Skills Required:

• Ability to regularly lift and move 10 pounds, frequently lift and move 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and move 50 pounds
• Basic knowledge of measuring devices: calipers, micrometers, height gage
• Basic Mathematical Skills: addition, subtraction, fractions, decimals (minimum 3 places)
• Basic Computer Skills: able to access folders, scan and save documents, type reports
• Must have solid long-term work history, personal reliable transportation, good attendance, and ability to pass all pre-employment screens.
