Are you interested in a career in Quality? Do you have previous experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in sheet metal fabrication or similar industry? Tools Inc. has an open position for an individual who is just starting their Quality career. The right candidate for this position will have a strong ability to notice and recognize subtle or minute details that others might overlook. The Quality Inspector role is to ensure the quality and accuracy of highly-cosmetic parts, by performing visual and manual inspection, using standardized methods and procedures.

Essential Job Functions

• Inspect products with highly cosmetic impact, along with packaging, and functional defects.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company specifications, and customer requirements.
• Document inspection results and maintain detailed reports of quality assessments.
• Work closely with the production and quality assurance teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for quality control and inspection.
• Conduct random sampling and audits on production batches.
• Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action plans for defects.
  
  

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent; additional technical education or certifications in quality control are a plus.
  
  

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify visual and physical defects.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet inspection deadlines.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
• Must be able to read, write, and comprehend the English language.
• Attention to accuracy, and a commitment to maintain high standards.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey inspection results, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), ISO, and other industry regulations is a plus.
  
  

Physical Demands

Ability to lift up to 40 LBS, bend, twist, grab, stand (up to 8 to 10 hours), walk, push, pull, use both hands to lift and lower materials, and perform all other essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
